09 Cobalt SS/TC-KN at PBIR

Went to the track for the first time with the SS.

09 SS, 14k Miles. KN drop in, full street trim, I weigh 235 lbs, 6 feet. Stock Contis (fffuuuuuuuu)

Best times.

13.96 @ 103 mph, 2.33 60' My brother driving LOL.
14.06 @ 102 mph, 2.31 60' Me driving (I got the better 60'

Other runs were low 14s, 14.1-14.4 all above 101 mph. Horrible 60s on those, don't even ask. They kept on spraying water ALL around the Line, no way to get around it.

93-94F showed in the car's display with pretty high humidity. This is normal for Florida anyways lol.

I was pretty damn happy with it, considering I'm a 1 wheel wonder!!! No LSD.

a 13.9 with a 2.3 60'??? I'm not calling you a lier, but pulling that 60' with that ET is crazy. Must be 175' below see lvl. Do you live in New Orleans?

Looks good under the conditions. That hot, humid weather is definitely a beyotch! With a decent 2.1 60' and some cooler air, I don't see why you couldn't nail a mid-ish 13. Nice runs man!

I live in Miami, Fl. However the track is further north. Palm Beach Raceway. Not sure what elevation is or what the density altitude was.

When did you go? I can look the weather conditions and let you know, if you're interested.

(I'm not big on DA corrections, you run what you run, and you ran was a damn good ET for what you had to work with)

I figured out the DA from dragtimes.com according to them the temperature at the time was 83' F and 74% humidity.

DA was 1790 above sea level.

Slips will be up once I figure how to upload the pics from my iPhone lol.

Thats all I was going to do too. Dragtimes is the shiz for that type of stuff. Looks like you ran about as fast as you could've, unless of course you could've hooked it better.
