this was a last minute thing i had no clue it was gonna happen. so no videos or pics. WE was out talking and decided just to see how my car was running. We went to our spot and he only wanted a 40 roll so i agreed. we ran from 40 till i let off at 125 every run was the same i jumped him till 100 then when i hit 4th he came by and pulled 3 cars till 125. he wouldnt run from a dig because he said there was no way he could run me on the street and win. we will run again once vince goes a little more aggresive on my tune and i will video it this time
He is turbo. but he was only at 3200 rpms when we took off at 40 so i jumped a couple of cars becasue he doesnt spool until 5k. but damn once it spools up he is fast. and honestly it was 3 cars by 125. He sid my car is faster than he thought.. im starting to get that alot now. and the mustang i ran wants to go again. And the people that say brake boosting dont help should try it. we was even if i didnt or i only got about a fender but if i did i got half to 3/4 of a car

he was in 3rd.. i know this guy really well and trust me it was hard for him to admit he had a cobalt run with him till 100. i must have a odd ball car because its never ran that good. if i could pull harder in 4th it wouldnt be so bad but my car hates 4th
nothing on this car is cheap.. he has 4k just in turbo manifold and piping. but he has a 80mm turbo i believe so it takes a while to spool. he has to be at wot when vtec hits or he wont spool it to 9 psi which is what he runs.
Because 400whp with fwd will hook up from a 40mph roll? Let alone it's a civic hatch that probably weights 2400lbs. Passing an ss/tc after 100mph and putting 3 cars on it by 125 is "trains" in my opinion because the ss/tc was left standing still.
Considering that a larger turbo wouldn't be spooled at a 40......3 cars is far from trains
he said if he is wot at 5k when vtec kicks in that will spool the turbo. I would jump enough to he had to play catch up and it took me hitting 4th for him to pull. i stayed in it one time to see what would happen higher and to 140 it was trains
i never said that i beat him. i said he walked me after 100. this is funny. everyone bashes anything i say on here. its funny there was 15 people that watched and even the driver said he was in it but shifting @ 7800..
2 things happened here:
1) the car doesn't have 400whp
2) the guy couldn't drive to save his own life
Like I said, a 400whp hatch WILL run high 10's.....there is no way in christ your car with all the tuning in the world will run anything better than a high 11 at the VERY VERY BEST.
That being said.....this guy SHOULD destroy you, if he hasn't refer back to the two points I have listed above.
he normally wont run on the street from 40 but he said he wanted to see my strong point so he had to lug the car in 3rd gear. he tried 2nd and he spun so bad i walked a little over a car before he could get to third and get boost again but once he hits 4th and can get boost he walks me. I understand that on the track on slicks he will run 11s but not on street tires. he is on 17s with normal street tires. And everyone i know said the only way a k20 turbo hatch will run 10s is on slicks.. And ive seen the dyno sheet its 400. he destroyed a Stage 2 clutch in 2 passes. he is now on a stage 4
and its funny i buy a cobalt and everyone gotta sell their slow hondas and find k20 swapped ones or have fully built motors in a del sol just to prove me wrong. i think its funny i got a stock car with a couple bolt ons and a tune and they gotta spend all that money to outrun me. no one here was interested in a k swapped car till the ideas they had wasnt good enough... And the fact a b20 turboed car on radials couldnt pull from me

Yes you can keep up to him till he gets traction and then he blows past you...I don't see what that proves about your car? That you make less HP than he does so you have more traction?????
