Im thinking on the mickey thompsons a 1.9 is possible If I had some more time to work on my launches. I dont get to go to the track much, I maybe make an avg of 5 pass a year if I'm lucky lol. I wish I lived closer to a track.
Yeah NLS makes a big difference on a bigger turbo car. And I know what you mean about only getting a few passes in a year. Our track is 3 hours away so I only get to practice my launches a few passes at a time once or twice a year. Still some good times though and especially the trap!

Isn't it risky to NLS on anything more powerful than stock?

He's an LSJ with a WOT box, not an LNF using factory NLS.

What's your setup? I will try and research it but would like to know.

My track is also 2 hours away. Launching on the street isn't even close to the same as the track

I have an lsj with the s256et on e85, rsfs w/ 80lb injectors and a 3 inch exhuast. Plus axles from napa, mounts, stg 4 ky clutch, etc.
Head and block are completely stock.

Other than the E85, I plan on getting that kit as well. Do you think that you could have yielded mid 11's if the track was closer to you?

I am going to be porting and polishing my head very soon. Only because I have a lifter that needs to be replaced. While I do that I hope to get some springs in it.

You should get a dolly and tow it next time. It would be nice to see you get those 11's. What PSI were you running?

Im sure if I would have kept trying I could have got into the 11's maybe high to mid 11's.
I was running @ 27psi and my A/F was 11.8 @ WOT. I have ran my A/F higher, it was just the cold weather making it a bit richer.
