13.4 @ 105 w/ 2.2 at Ceicel Drag way...

Well my bro just got off the phone with me and told me he ran a 13.4 @ 105 today This is in his 04 Redline w/ the same mods I have.

He did this with a 2.2 60 foot. I was impressed. Our cars are pretty much the same performance wise, and he has all the mods I have but he also has a header, engine mount, and Cobra heat exchanger.

If he can do that w/ a 2.2, and no HP tune I dont see why we couldnt touch 12's w/ drags.

We should be getting/doing HPtuners in November, and I am taking my header to get installed tomorrow.

What are the Vibrations from an engine mount like? I will take a ride in my bro's car this weekend, but just currious how bad the vibration is? If you put antivibration tape on it before installing would you still get the +'s of a solid mount, w/ less Vib?

He should be posting his slip as soon as he gets home

Man you aint running a 12.9 sorry man... I could see you getting into 13.3 territory, but you will need Drags/slicks and a Tune to get into the 12's....

Haha thats probably what they cut it down too LAWL, how fast where you really going?

Stick with the Ingalls if you're using the car as a DD. You're gonna hate the vibes coming from the mounts - had them in my Cavy and every time I drove the car I kept thinking to myself what a POS I drive

Yea, it is my DD so I dont want mad vibrations, but at the same time I know my car isnt staying on the ground, so if these would help my first and second gear out, I may go if it isnt too bad. I mean, my bro had Tranny and engine mount installed in his redline over the weekend and when you got in his car it felt like you where in a massage chair cause the whole freaking car shook rediculously bad. Now he did take off the tranny mount, so I dont know what its like with just the engine mount, but I dont want my car to shake....

what if you put like anti vibration take inbetween the car / mount. Would that give you the benefits of a solid mount, minus the same ammount of vibration? or does thtat not make sense.

All the tune will do is flatten out the AFR a little for more consistent fuel delivery. If he's using the 42# injectors then he's maxed with the 2.7". 12's maybe possible with the 60# FI and the 2.7" but not adviseable on pump gas for the track...good luck Chris!!!

I think me and my bro could hit high 12's w/ a 2.8 and 42 lb'ers. I mean, Drags, Drag bags, HP Tuners, Increase of red line so can finish the 1/4 in 3rd instead of 4th, Heat exchanger, and a new clutch . I think w/ these mods, it could easily pull a .4 off of our 1/4 mile. I mean, I could be wrong, but we will try
