13.48@105.5 + log file

Everyone seriously needs to get some good tires. I threw on BF Goodrich g-Force T/A KDW NT and went from 14.1 best to this and that's on 18's! and stock header and exhaust.

I've attached the log file, I wasn't even running enough timing up top. Didn't get a chance to test new tune cause of the damn clutch. My clutch is now slipping pretty badly (only at the track) so now I need to get that ASAP. Bulley Performance clutch is apparently making one for us and they're located in Ottawa.

*hint: don't get off the throttle during shifts and launch from 1300rpm

R/T .483
60' 2.137
330 5.809
1/8 8.783
MPH 81.59
1000 11.336
1/4 13.480
MPH 105.46

Well that is a pretty good 60ft. but I have done a 2.18 on factory pirelli's. I have seen another forum member do 2.15 on factory shoes. now not all conditions maynot be equal here cause track prep is extremely important. What kind of 60fts did you have before? Were the tires loosing any traction or was it all clutch? What size of tire did you go with? bottom line is do you think with a decent clutch you could get under 2.0?

thanks!

well with my current mods I could get best 60' of 2.55 cause as soon as it would grip, I would hammer it and lose traction again. With these I hammer it and it just claws the ground. I think on this run my clutch was slipping a bit, but nothing very noticable. Tires are 225-40-18 and my rims weigh 24lb. I think with a good cluch and axles I could definetly get a 2.0.

Definatly not the one We made 260whp on .He has no timing on the launch at all..

As for a Clutch I'm going to get him somthing that you guys Might be interested in..
The Clutch company is called Bully Clutch they have some pretty trick innovations
We ran a single disc from them to 700hp on our Turbo s2000 race car with Great sucess.
They have an awesome race/street clutch that has 30%more clamp load and 20% less pedal effort than the other race/street clutch's out there.

So what is the deal here on the tires. I would have thought drag radials are needed for sure to launch hard and get lower than 2.0. I would like to see 1.8 or 1.9 at a minimum.
I planned on going 245/45R17 with a DR's. Provides looks handling and strip. If I can do it with stock 18's I am happy with that. What do you think?

I didn't go DR's cause I'm afraid of snapping my axles. I'll probably go slicks when it's all done up right. But I would say 2.0 is best on 18's.

Well all do 2.1xx on street tires. That methanol is good for like 20whp or so man, so its not like you have a quick somewhat stock car. Lol. I did roughly the same times at only 233whp.
