It's off, 108mph trap is good for low 13's or high 12's with slicks with a light fwd car.

The interceptor assumes you get perfect launches with no hop/spin. When I ran a 13.4 at the track the gauge told me I ran a 12.6. Cant remember what trap speed the gauge gave me. So if you can launch the car 100% perfect, you can get that 13.8@108, but you probably won't as its almost impossible not to get any spin/hop.

If the Interceptor is anything like a G-tech you have to subtract 5MPH and add.5 second to get you in the ballpark. At the track your speed is averaged in the last part of the track(I think it's the last sixty feet?) and on the Gtech it takes the highest reading. In the end you will have to go to the track to get a real ET.

Were u using the first version of the G-tech, C&D rated the G-tech II as the most accurate device for mesuring a cars performance besides a drag strip. I have no clue abou the interceptor, but the G-tech is a very good tool.

Yes, I was using the latest version of the Gtech and even the better one that you could download the info to your computer. It's a good tool to get you ready for the strip but don't expect to run as good a time as the Gtech indicates at a real strip or you will be dissapointed.

The G-Tech should be very accurate as it uses an accelerometer for calculations. It should be way closer than .5 seconds.

I think the quarter mile time of 13.8 would be close to what you can run. However that trap speed is way high. I would subtract like 5 mph

We ran it on three different cars and the MPH was 5-7 MPH slower at the track. Et was was .2-.7 faster than at the track. This was on a 12,13 and 14 second car. The faster cars were closer to actual ET.
