15.7@85
so i went to a car show today, it was import faceoff@san antonio raceway, after they judged my car, i went to run, my first run i ran a 16.1, which didnt bother me, since the last time i was at the track i ran a 16.5@83mph, so it was a improvement i was happy, well i et back in line, this time i push the car hru the line instead of driving it,i lined up with orngbalt, he ran a 19 cuz he stalled out in first, and i ran a 15.7@85mph, i was so dam happy, all my hard work has pay'd off, i managed to shave almost a whole second off my time

and for those that dotn believe, heres a pic of my car waiting in line ro tun, notice im number 8, and than look at the slip

my mods so far are:
ebay cai;
aem dryflow;
lsj header;
lsj downpipe;
lsj catback;
shot shifter;
turbo tech trany mounts.
my car weighed in at 2800 punds with me in it
next im thinking of getting me some new tires for the front, i have some 195's in the front, which is the stoc size, im thinking of going into some 215's, either that or getting the solid engie mount from turbo tech racing, what do ya'll think?

For the ss/sc you have add the entire supercharger set-up, leather seats, heavier wheels,etc it all adds up.
my car is a manual, im going back to the track sometime in january, by than i should have the solid engine mount aswell, as some wider tires, i have some 195's, im going 205 or 215, i want that 60@atmost 2.3, im getting 2.4 right now
i wish my car was that light, i took out the spare, the jack, i left al the misc thing in though, when i go back im takin out the door panels, the rear seats, and the passenger seat, and ma have some wider tires along with a solid engine mount im getting from TTR
yea bro get some engine mounts, tranny mounts, it helps alot on the wheel spin. also did u lower ur tire pressure? that also helps, i think u might hit a 15.5 or so...cause the none wheel hop helps so damn much
yeah thanks 4 the link, but i know how to remove everything already, i actually saw that the "how to" on it back when it was first posted
and i didnt drop the pressure, i should have, but i didnt wanna bother with it
Nice news about the improvements! I ran my 1st time ever my "at the time" stock 2.2L at 16.9 at NOPI New England.... now with mods and a bit more exprience hoping for mid-low 15s this season
