2.4SS night at the track

Well I didn't beat my best time but I was so close only .02 seconds.

Here are my 3 best runs

1/4et 60ft trap speed
15.77 2.34 85.45
15.81 2.42 86.16
15.83 2.38 85.81

now I got a question for my fellow automatic 2.4SS owners. When it is time to shift from L gear to I gear what rpm do yall shift at?

Forgot to mention my

victorys
silverado 1500
z24 cavy
and a GTO lol ok fine I won by default he red lighted

loses
turboed cavy
and the GTO I beat lol

From my understanding you shift from L once your outa the hole, just keeps the traction control from coming on. Work on your launches and you can get into the mid 15's.

If you leave it in "L" till it shifts into second, yes it will shift into second in "L". Then put it up into "I" that should help.

You also NEED to do the 2.0 injector swap and tune it helps big time!

Nope as soon as it shifts from 1st to 2nd in "L" put it up into "I". Go try it! Go out, put it in "L" punch it, watch your tach and it'll shift at about 6500 rpm.

Not any worse then just driving around. Now actualy if I were you I'd put it in "I" and leave it that way you don't have to do anything at all. So what if you never see a 14.9 dude those numbers your running are PERFECT for bracket racing! I've seen so many 16 second cars take home tropheys cause they don't go out of thier bracket.

ok so this is what I should do

1. start off in L
2. when the car shifts into 2nd automatically put it into I?

If thats the case I'll definately try that next time, and on the streets as well, lol right by my house I kinda measured a 1/4 mile with the trip distance on the car lol

Play with with it during the week so when you go to the track you'll know how to shift and when.

When I launch I leave it into L and let it shift and then automatically put it into I and leave it there.........

My best run so far has been a 15.731
