I should be going up Saturday or Sunday, even with the blown turbo. Maybe I'll run a time that I care to share.

i hear you guys i got my rotated mounts in , and the meth kit and front mount on on there way. I will run a decent 12 in a factory blowered lsj on street tires and the factory 18's came so close with my 13.1 and that was with no suspension and 170 degree IAT2's

I'm going to the track tomorrow. I should be able to crack a super-fast 13.8 and get my name listed in the throwdown for a minute! YES!!

i would go to the track today. but im trying to figure out if a bit of oil coming out of the pcv connection on the head is normal or not. the way my new IM runs since im turbo swapped has that hole open and yes I know im suppose to tap it and run a hose out of it for it to flow out and all. the question is is a bit of oil venting out of there normal? is that that I need a little more venting on the head like that oil breather cap? i have the little filter on the back of the valve cover too and it had a lil oil too.

sometimes its not enough, and you do need the oil cap filter thing. im using one now. not the one everyone else uses that screws in, a different one that just pushes in and stays. but if your not blowing out your dip stick it aint that bad. mine never did. but at high rpm i think it needs a better breather system.

oil will drip off the end of the filter cause its so small and so much hot air with oil droplets and moister are being forced through it sometimes it will drop a drip or two on the header or something, no biggie. but if its poping your dip stick too then that would be a sign of too much crankcase pressure.

I went again. I didn't do so well with more charge pipe issues and the blow turbo. But, I wanna start the list.

****, 90mph in the 1/8th alone is moving, then you add in the fact he pulled 30mph in the back half. Good lord!

give me your full mod list again maxim.

Do you see the slip they fucked up. The one without numbers 1/4 time and speed. IDK what happened but it was faster but the timer failed. I was 8.494 @ 92 in the 1/8th. It really pissed me off.

The car was running hard at the end of the day, I had issues with charge piping all day. So, instead of worrying about my 60's I was fixing the car between runs I actually ended up running fairly low boost and putting fuel in it to make power. When I finally got the car holding together I bumped the 2 step up once but it needs to go higher. For the record 5600 on 2 step with 35r = bog. She is really making good power I don't think any other cobalt are doing 30 in the back half @ full weight. Before the season is over I plan to really strip it out and run high boost + fuel and see those awesome 11's.

Mods= blown gt35r, HAHN log mani. Custom DP w/ cutout, stock catback, SAAB LK9 inlet manifold, 78# valve springs, 80# injectors, 104, GMPP clutch, water/meth injection, Hoosier QTP 26x9.5 DOT bias ply cheater slicks, BWoody traction bars, polly motor and tranny mounts, eibach pro-kit, custom tune.

I think that's it.

yea, I see that slip, sucks that it messed up. But you know, you could have went up to the tower and seen if they had actual 1/4 times on that pass. That might have been a decent pass.

I bet you are loving that saab intake mani huh? Seems like it flows pretty decent.

for the record, my slow as m62 balt ran better 1/8th times. LOL

My good times will come. I have plenty of room from improvement with my 1/8 and 60' I think the car has 11's in her.

The SAAB intake works great, and for 150$ new you really can't beat it. It does heatsoak easily though so I'd like to run a spacer soon.

cmiller8006 grabs the top spot with a blistering 12.10! We got 2 of each kind on the board already. 1 LNF and LSJ in the 12's, and 1 LNF and LSJ in the 13's. LNF is putting on a show right now though.

Where's my LSJ's at?

Gimme a break, I ran that with a blown turbo....

But guess what I just got.... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...K%3AMEWNX%3AIT

When she comes in I'll head back to put some real times down.

Holy ***** cmiller a 1.7?!?!? You are putting the bar high. I don't even hit 91 in the 1/8.

I am looking for 1.6's. Only if the little k04 had more top end lol. Runs like an animal till after the 1/8th then its like the brakes are on(not really but you can really tell its not pulling as hard.)

Why is your back end trap so low? You 1/8th mile trap is awesome, but my mostly stock car is trapping higher than that... Weren't you trapping like 115 last year? I know the slicks tend to bog down the top end some... but it shouldn't drop it down 6 mph.
