Advice for getting into the 12's
So I've been racing my cobalt ss/tc for a couple years now. This year I added 17' Mickey thompson ET street radial II's to the setup. Last weekend I ran a personal best of 13.18 @ 104.55 mph. Even with the the drag radials the 60' was still only a 2.10 (I have gotten down into the 2.08-ish area) but still on radials I need to get that 60' down.
Mods are stock turbo, Hp tuned (need a retune - the car has never been datalogged the tuner just put his tune from his solstice GXP on it), AEM cai, ZZP catless downpipe, Hahn catback. I know all I need is to cut the 60' down to get into the 12's. I tried the football trick last week but the track might not have been prepped as well because I spun out of the hole, or they may have been overinflated.
My normal launch routine is competitive mode on, launching from a programmed in 2 step of 3500 rpm and rolling out the clutch. I normally have the radials inflated to about 27 psi. Any tips would be appreciated!

Getting the tune smoothed out would play a big part on getting those times down. My buddy John a 13 flat all day long, went in and messed with the a/f and timing a bit and ran a 12.8.

On street tires it used to be around 106-107,but i think so too, with the 17" radials it fell down to 104, but i attribute it mostly to the non-specific tune
