Any significant difference in 1/4 mile time with this?

Removed passanger seat, rear seat, spare tire, jack, and trunk liner.

Ran a 14.12 with all that in.

Think I can hit a 13.9 tonight??

good luck. I'd look up the air density for tonight before you go just to make sure the air is the same as when you ran last time. I'd hate for that to be a waste of your time.

But in Guam, I ran a 15.9@85 in my lancer ralliart bone stock. Pulled out the back seats, passenger seat, spare tire and ran a 15.6@87mph. Same 2.4 60', it was actually 5 degrees hotter on the faster run. 1/8th was 10.2@68 stock, and 10.1@70 with the weight reduction.

Have to remember though, you are going to see bigger gains with lesser powered cars. I wouldn't expect a 3 tenth drop from your car as you are trapping about 15mph faster.

don't get the tank too low. if you go rounds, you might run out of gas.

only way to really tell what you'll pick up is to make a couple passes. then take them out and get right back out there...

honestly i'd think it will help more in the aspect of weight transfer and traction, moving the center of gravity forward. i mean.. a stock sc doesn't have THIS much wheel gap. haha

you take all that **** out, plus the footballs in some nice air. i can see 13.9s happening.

Ok, here are the outcomes. I didn't run slower lmao

I ran a 14.02 my first pass. There was a new rule in place where you cant drive around the waterbox. It's ******* gay. BUT, I was able to get some of the water off before making that first pass.

Second pass, they had sprayed a bunch of water directly in front of me as I was pulling up to the box. So I got more water on the tires this time than last time.
Tried to spin it off as best I could, still hopped off the line so I had to back off and get back on again, Ran a 14.4.

Last pass was an ok pass. Ran a 14.04

So it looks like I'm 3 hundreths away from my goal. I'm thining a short shifter and exhaust would get my there.

My launches were really good. 2.22-2.24 60''s

Oh, and I had just over 3/8ths tank of gas lol

Was it warm and humid? If it was, you did good. Especially with having to go through the water-box. I would hate to see what my 60' times would be if they made us go through the box up here. Yikes!

What were your trap speeds?

Post up the whole slip.

Before you go spend all that money on a stupid short shifter(that ain't going to do anything) and an exhaust, get a spare set of 2 wheels and put some stickier tires on them. No reason why you shouldn't grab 13's easily then.
