Back to the track (8-24)

Went to the track again, getting a little bit more of a feel for the car now.

1st run
1/8 - 10.0200 at 70.67
1/4 - 15.4901 at 92.22

2nd run
1/8 - 10.1893 at 72.33
1/4 - 15.5491 at 93.40

3rd run
dropped tire pressure down to 23psi and skipped water box
1/8 - 9.5601 at 74.12
1/4 - 14.8030 at 95.16

Still not fast enough for me, but not modded and can't afford to yet. However I dropped .75 seconds from one run to the next so I'm stoked about that.

Yeah, you just need to get out there and practice more and you'll continue improving.

I'm willing to bet your 60-foot times are 2.4's or worse... and that would mean more practice getting the car off the line. Post up your 60-ft times, and your launching technique, and I bet some of the guys here could help you out.

Good improvement... and good luck.

You need to avoid the water box each and every time. All season tires will only bring water up into the staging lanes!

The track is run by complete morons and they keep saying the battery pack for the timing lights is dead so the 60 ft times aren't available I'm launching at around 3,500 to 4,000, on that good run the car hooked up and after the revs came back up from the slight dip it started wheel hopping about a 1,000 rpm later. Custom torque brace coming soon.

I don't like replacing clutches, and I'm not too worried about making the times the car is supposed to
