bags in rear springs
SO ive been thinking Ive been into drag racing off and on since I was 16 Did a little street racing when i was younger and dumber but I like the track. Anyways This is my first front wheel drive performance car so maybe I am way off course here. But could we possibly just put cheap airbags in our rear springs to cut down on weight transfer and put limiters on the front Like they do on rwd cars to keep the front end down on launch? I could be crazy but In my head This could be a cheap way to litigate the whole fwd garbage.
any thoughts

omg that was funny.
Yea im not sure how the suspension setup is supposed to be for the better traction but if it was tht stiffer spring were needed in the rear airlift does make a "helper bag that will fit inside of your coils. With those you could easily adjust the weight transfer by just adding air, I could use this for when i put extra people in the car so it doesnt bottom out lol. but i dont see footballs working that well...

there is a product out called "drag bags". someone did a how-to with i believe sportline springs. He had to call the company and give the specs of his springs and cross referenced them to a mini-van im pretty sure. Anyways shouldn't be hard to find, just call them up and give them the dimensions of your rear springs, they should have something.

ok so I found the posts about the footballs and the air springs Guess its not a new idea
Blazin what were your 60 ft times without them. I can do 2.0s on the factory tires and 2.1s with the al seasons I have now. I just thought it may hel;p enough to get me in the 1.8 range on street tires and I would be happy + the racing season is pretty much over and I have all winter to jack around till it starts back up.
I seriously thought the football thing was a joke I didnt get and that you all were messing with me
Guess ya learn something everyday
