So i looked at the weather and we had an 10mph headwind as well along with the 92% humidity that night...so maybe those factors along with me having a high rise wing gave me a lower trap speed than normal?
Dunno, just trying to find something to make me feel better about it...lol
plus im ending in 4th gear, maybe ill try to see if i can stay in 3rd next time...

I have a slip of my fastest time in the official drag times. That was on the Hoosier a6 slick I bought off here. Had 10 psi in the front and 35 in the rear. Launched at 4k rode the clutch through 1st nls to 2nd and ran to 6300 by the hp logs. Car ran great besides bogging out the hole. And that was slight wheels spin I'm 2nd gear. I also cross the line In 4th. The 1/8 mile was 8.4 @ 90 1/4 was 12.8 @ 112.7 and 60 was 2.11. But as James stated it is a slow ramp with alot of tq management. Hoping to catch cmiller since my turbo swap has been postponed.
No offense chris just wanna catch your time

That was the 3rd pass on the slicks before they grabbed. I trapped a 14.3 on that pass. The looks from people was priceless. I'll post the bids I have later when I get to my moms. Still waiting on Internet at my new house
here is the video of my 12.8 pass. 12.8 @ 112.MP4 - YouTube

James was shocked I did what I did considering how conservative it was and how much tq
Management. I need to go dig and see who all the ones was before saying I can't drive. That it wasn't the trifecta tune and blah blah.

from experience what is a better street strip tire to accommodate both life and traction on street without a major suffer in either subject:
bfg kdw2
toyo proxy
nitto 555r
nitto nt05
leaning towards from proxy, nt05, and 555r, heard that kdw2's have worn to prematurely , but im down for any opinions
will be using m/t et streets @ the track

Stage very shallow. (Prestage and STOP, bump forward until you're staged at the VERY back of the stage beam). You could also lower your front tires to take longer to break the beam too (this also effects your reaction time) lol.
There is about 7" of rollout depending on the track. Being further back gives you more of a rolling start before the timer starts.
