I would be looking into a used car with on in it. its a strong enough kit where you can trust a used one.

btw I just want to say you sound like a moron saying you never see the tailight of a volkswagen. if you want I can either get my car out of the garage or have some of my buddies race you with their dubs. a chipped 1.8t with exhaust and coilovers is just as fast as a cobalt with 3" pulley, exhaust and suspension mods. trust me I'm deep into the volkswagen world and had a lot of proving to do when I showed up to a couple meets with my balt. and honestly the cobalt is no where near as fast as my 94 jetta VRT.

just remember if you want to be a good car guy you need to educate your self on all diferent makes and models that way you dont get confused and tell somone you beat a lambo when you really raced a fiero.
Your right VWs Can be very fast. They come from the factory Under tuned and have really strong motors to work with. you can throw huge turbos on them and still have drivablity. 1.8t= gt2871 2.8=gt30r or gt35r 3.2= gt35r or a gt4088.

for one. i never said i NEVER see the taillights of a volkswagen. i clearly said i never seen HIS taillights. HIS as in HIS vdub. not all. just thought i'd get THAT straightened out. for TWO i kno vdubs are fast. i WANTED one. so dont preach to me about whats fast and blah blah blah i already know. and if the car had a dual exhaust. the body of a r32 and launched on me like a bat out of hell i'm going to assume it was a r32. NOw that we got that straight next time you decide to call someone a moron. READ WHAT THEY F@@kING SAID FIRST!. how bout that?

i dont think i EVER said vdubs were slow. i think in one of my replys i was talking about how fast they were. people that comment my thread. if you dont read what i right down clearly. dont comment. i dont wanna hear what you have to say if your going to talk about stuff that never even crossed my mind. i beat ONE volkswagen. thats the ONE im talking about. so if i didnt make it clear in the reply above. this should do it.

I can vouch for gti's they def. have potential. i worked with i guy who always tried to get me to race him when i first got my cobalt. but he was one of those guys if i asked what he had done he'd say dont worry about it. well little that i knew his best was a 9.78 compared to my high 13's that would be labled as rape i think.

one of my friends just bought an 02 vr6 and it only ran a 15.8 stock in the 1/4. so there is no way one could stay with a ss/sc... unless it wasnt stock...

I have walked many of VW's and a few R32's, but i got beat by about 5-6 cars by a 97 GTI VR6 with a
gt30r on it, the car made like 340whp after he got a good tune, he beat me with a shitty tune by that much......I love the way Vdubs look with rims! I would love to trade my car in for a new Yellow GLI with some nice ass 19's on it and a clean drop

your a little missimformed, the r32 can and will spin tires on launch if you do not activate launch mode do to the way the holidex system works
