let your car cool as long as possible. The cooler your car, the better your trap speed, the more likely to break 13's. Get some ice and put it on the blower while you wait if you can.

 

Finally hit a 13 on my last run of the day. I had noticed my AFR's were dippin' to 10.5 on the tail end of the 2nd and middle of third. Leaned it back to 11.3, first tweak got me to 14.04@103.44, AFR was 11 by the end of third. Second tweak I upped timing a degree adjusted a little closer to 11.3 AFRs and I hit 13.966@104.18.

I feel better now. Accomplished one goal. I guess next is to put on the Cobra H/E and get one step colder plugs and see if I can get consistant 13.9's.

throw a h/e on there, up your timing just a tad, and eek out a 13.7, throw meth on there, fully advance your timing, lean it out some, and run low 13's.
