Cutting 60 Fts

Does anyone have any suggestions? I have a 2.4 and my BEST 60ft was a 2.412! I think thats pretty wack. Does anyone have any kind of advice?

tires.

I would suggest DR's but youll probably snap the axles.

I'd try some Kumho MX's or Falken Azeni RT-615s on the front and get em a lil warm.

I may have to try tires...I have BF Goodrich G-Force right now but not the KDWs. I tried launching at SEVERAL different RPMs...

launch it at about 2500 rpm and ease out of the clutch with minimal wheel spin. My best so far is a 2.27 60 foot. I own a 07 cobalt SS 2.4, bone stock, stock tires, not a thing done to it.

Also whats ur best 1/4 mile time so far?

Thanks ill definately try the lower launch!
Well, my local dragstrip is well over 5000+ ft in elevation so my 1/4 mile times are gonna seem ridiculous. Keep in mind that SS/SCs run 15.2-15.5 here... My best was a 16.3. I was HOPING to break 15s with a better 60ft

Lots of practice is all you need man. How you roll out of the beams plays a huge factor in it. Tires may help but then again I was pulling 2.14 60's on the stock Pirelli's its all in throttle and clutch control.
