First Time at Track(need help understanding slip)
I once had a '92 Camaro RS with a lame 305 TBI. First time out I ran 17.1 ET @ ~87 MPH. My 60' times were ~2.2 seconds
I swapped out the shocks and tires (still street tires), added a PowerTrax locking diff., shift kit, bigger air cleaner, and a Dynomax cat-back.
My 60' times dropped to 2.00 seconds, and my best ET was ~16.5 @ 89 mph.
Dropped my 60' times .2 seconds and lowered my ET .6 seconds. The other .2 seconds obviously came from other mods.
And just to give you a point of refferrence...
In my '71 Camaro, first time out I ran back to back 13.8 ET ~99 mph with a 60' time of 2.00 on those same tires exact tires. I'd like to get some drag radials and see what this car can really do.
Work on that 60' time and there isn't any reason you shouldn't see high 13's.
HY guys,
I dunno if the guy u said u'r RT is good know's about those things. I know its your first time at the track but by going more time's u can improve your RT .
If the the system where u race uses the .000 lights that a very bat eaction time.
My best reaction time ever is .032 (second time ever to the dragstrip).
So do your best to improve your RT cuz it will help you win races.

BTW your ET is very good. I running with a 2005 2.2L LT automatic sedan.
