1st Run 14.996@96.24

2nd Run 15.308@93.86

3rd Run 15.675@89.22

4th Run 14.556@101.75

5th Run 14.338@102.38

You be the judge.

try not to go wide open as early. either that or don't let the clutch engage all the way as early as you are. my guess is spinning of the line pretty good??

feather the clutch at 2k and launch as if you're pulling away from a stop light quickly.

that's the best way I can describe how I've gotten my 60's down.

It's hard with nerves and all but as weird as it may sound, you need to be less aggressive at the line in a FWD vehicle running street tires.

This is true. Remember to preload. When your staging. Trip the first yellow. Pull your E brake while continuing to push the release button.. start letting out on your clutch. No gas needed! It will creep just a bit and then trip the second yellow. Still with your E brake held, pick your RPMS to launch at. I wouldn't go any more than 2k... might even just go like your would off at a stop light. This is done with your clutch still partially dissengaged. Not fully or will die. So you have your clutch partially let out.. your RPMs are where you want them and your E brake is pulled. When the tree starts to count... Almost in sequence on the 2nd yellow.. you let off your E brake and attempt to keep your RPMs at the launch setting while fully letting out of your clutch. This will not only allow you to launch harder.. in theory.. must have traction.. i think it will help you much more in the long run. It is safer as well! Harder launches safer?? Sure is. All your moving parts have tension on them. Instead of a SUDDEN jolt of force some times resulting in broken or twisted parts.. you have a much smoother launch. It takes some practice, but is the best way to go. IMO. Best of luck!

Yea I was spinning the tires on all the runs. The third run I missed a gear cause at first I was going up to 4th gear just so that I could get used to shifting. Then the 4th and 5th run I only went to 3rd. Its a fun learning experience as far as I'm concerned

Thanks I keep all that in mind if I decide to take the car to the track again.
