First Track Time with 2.4 Mani

My mods are listed and i also had the 145lb weight reduction from no seats or spare and such things. Sorry for the picture quality camera sucks and the yellow paper makes for a bad picture. I have never tried launching the car much so I had a few problems. I was getting nasty whell hop when scrubbing the tires.

First run
60ft - 2.49
1/8 - 10.47
1/4 - 15.97
1/4 MPH - 87.40

Second Run
60ft - 2.49
1/8 - 10.52
1/4 - 16.08
1/4 MPH - 86.57

Third Run
60ft - 2.46
1/8 - 10.59
1/4 - 16.20
1/4 MPH - 85.34

I think with a little more driver mod and maybe an exhuast I could be in the 15.5-15.6 range. What does everyone else think?

Yeah sorry about now having a before. At least we know it should break someone into the 15's. How does everyone else scrub the tires? I was told second gear with light E break to scrub them. Anyway for not ever having raced I did okay. Better next summer for sure.

not bad, better than my first run.

honestly, you should be at a 15.5 solidly with a stock car and a lot of practice. I have had some issue launching my car as well, so it may be the achillies heel of the 2.4....

how come you only got in two runs?
