FU#!* 4th gear!

Long story short, I cannot NLS into 4th no matter how hard I try. I ran a 13.3 at 105 missing 4th gear 4 out of 4 times.

Think a twm will help? Its locking me out.

i missed 4th the other day playing with a hemi ram. i don't know why either because shifting to 4th is straight back and should be easy to hit..

dart do u own a ss/tc? one of the guys here in edmonton with a ss/tc was at the drag strip with me one night and he kept missing 4th gear. I found it funny, like cobalt daddy said, its just straight down.

its not that its straight down, its that it locks me out of it. i go for a NLS (yea i own a ss/tc) and instead of getting the POP and going in the next gear, i get locked out of 4th and bouncing off the rev limiter. i think my shifter linkage is out of wack since ive performed over 9000 correct NLS

Seems like a issue with the SS/TC then...is there a recall for anything to do with that?

Stock clutch still? Try rebleeding it. Sounds like a clutch issue IMO.

Yeah, I adjusted my linkage cause the same was happening but in 2nd. Now its all good. It may be time for you to adjust yours as well.
I did this and it did indeed fix my issue:

Aftermarket clutch?

I have seen this on a few cars and wonder if the master runs into the same type of issues LS1 cars had. Basically the master cylinder cant move enough fluid for a larger clutch and it creates shifting issues under WOT.

stocker. havnt been having issues so far again but if i do ill bleed the clutch even tho its stock just to see. and get a tranny fluid swap. bleeding the clutch takes all of 3 minutes.

hmmm LMK what you find. my buddy let me run his car down teh track, and i NLS'd it. but i couldnt hit 4th, i thought i fucked up, and maybe so, but maybe there is an issue with the trans. i only ran a 14.0 @ 85 cause after i missed the shift, i just clutched it and coasted (not my car)
