Do you just use the ebrake to preload the drivetrain?

no i use the ebrake to heat my slicks. When i get to the tree i always light first, then while holding the brake pedal let the clutch out some until i feel the slack taken up. release brake and wait for green

launching at 5500 isn't that big of a deal. I did it all day multiple track days in my cobalt, I'm still on the stock axles, never broke one.

good luck man!

Does your track let you run in the grooves? Thats something I wish our track would let us do. Unless its one of their competition weekends, no one gets to run in the prepped grooves.

hell yea i run in the grooves. i has torque steer so bad i have to hang onto the steering wheel lol. and thanks guys. Ralli i still get a small bog when i hook and go even from 5.5k rpms. Im thinking about holding her on limiter and letting her rip . hopefully i wont leave my trans at the tree considering i sold my extra lol. with the 2.6 and weight reduction i should easily go 11's same technique ive used. But id like to be told sir please remove your cobalt from the track shes too fast and you need a cage

What you have your limiter set too? The only problem I see with that is banging it on there too long and building up EGTs too high or a valve floating or something. If you do it, I'd just hold the revs like 500 rpms below the limiter, then right before the light goes green and you launch, smash the gas and drop the clutch. Good luck, I look forward to seeing the results.

whats your dyno numbers?
obviously you can drive, but you must be putting down serious power to be getting in the 11's...just wondering

Unlike most, he is not concerend about dyno numbers.

If everyone is so interested.... take his trap speed, and through it into a race calculator.

He is prob in the 360whp range.

it doesn't take 360whp in a supercharged car to trap that high. FYI, but everyone can speculate. Makes it fun.

Zrated, clear you PMs fool. What's your rev limit?

I know this, but I'm sure he is making some decent power.

Again, I'm only guessing.
