GOING FOR 11's in my SUPERCHARGED LSJ
6g's for the bottom end? With what I got from k1 and wiseco I have 500.00 with machining in my bottom end lol. Even at full price I would only have about 1500.00 in it, what cost 6g's or is that the whole motor.
You guys are lucky your tracks stay open. Our last track day was October 1st
**** my car has been in storage for a week and a half already
Thankfully its in the 40's and 50's this week so I pulled it back out to drive

Average is 38 lolYou are set lol
Yeah i got luck honestly. We chatted online one day. A week later we got together and the following week she was pregnant. Just had to make it work since and so far 5 years later we are still good. Finally getting married in april.
After talking with zrated89 I also bought the phenolic spacer. I think I need valve springs too. Mine tick and that is pretty annoying. I was thinking of getting the neutral balance shafts but I think I should save my money. I'm scared of going over 7,000 RPM
and i been taking it to 7200 for something like 40k miles, actually just started taking it to 7400-7500 to see more of the power curve not an everyday thing(3.35" pullied m62 power drops off fast

ive always reved to 7400 and in third was winding to 7500 to avoid the rev limiter and ive had no issues. 73k miles too car has been tuned since 1400 miles lol. But i want an 8k+ rev limit
Don't you have to take the head off to do the valve springs? Or is there a tool you can use to hold the valves up? That is the ONLY thing holding me back from getting a set of 78# springs. My brothers old B16A revved to 8,200RPM stock. Thing sounded insane, especially when V-TEC hit. I took on my friends Ion Redline and won 2 of 3 races. I was in a 90' Hatch. I wish I would have recorded them.

You need to use air pressure to hold the valves up.
There is also a special spring compressor tool you need.
CF-300<BR />Valve Spring Compressor for OHC and DOHC | Item #CF-300. | Goodson Tools & Supplies for Engine Builders
I was dead set on doing this over the winter.... I even spoke to several engine builders in my area (including my father), but decided to hold off on it.
My limiter is set at 7250rpm (been that way for 3 years now), but I shift at 7K (peak power on my setup). Maybe someday I will wind her out further with some cams & valve springs.
