GOING FOR 11's in my SUPERCHARGED LSJ

hey guys saturday is the day im going back to virginia motorsports park to achieve my goal of a 11 second quarter mile pass in my 2007 SS/SC. Many of you know that two sundays ago i ran a 12.40@113 short shifting to fourth and it being my first time on slicks and my new setup. This was done on a 93 octane tune, and full street trim no weight reduction. I just went out and purchased some 109octane unleaded race gas for my car, and Joe is working on a race gas tune right now. On just the meth we were able to run 21 degrees of timing before seeing trace knock. Im hoping with the race gas well be able to run 25. Im going to do some weight reduction, and a few other tricks, as well as winding out third gear this time. My slicks just started coming in at the end of the night on my last runs. Best 60' was a 1.86. Im hoping with a 1.7 or lower 60' and the other things that are being done i will see an 11.99. I will keep you guys posted. And just to let people know since i keep getting asked this is on 100% STOCK internals no head work or anything. Stay tuned

yes stock axles
towards the end both of my inner CV boots started throwing a little grease they were pissed at me but they have no play, so ima run them. I do have a driveshaft Stage 2 shop axle as a spare thanks to connor and will swap it at the track if on gives out on me

I really hope you get it!
So that way, when I do get my TVS I can say, there's a guy somewhere who ran 11's with the same setup I have (minus the slicks and driver mod)

oh yea last time my buddy couldnt make it with the trailer. So when i was launching that was kinda in the back of my mind. this time were trailering her up there because when the 12.40 was done that was driving a hour n a half on the interstate, hoping on the track and going sshe had no cool down time. putting this 73 dollars for five gallons of gas in and tuning tonight after work

Racing with a sprained back ftl. Thanks Joe ima give her hell. 25+ degrees of timing should feel good ole man's coming soon to adjust timing map wheeeeewwwww
