yea man i was launching at 4500-5k rpms and the GMP clutch never missed a beat. Ive got at least 10 runs on slicks now with 1.7 60's and she hasnt slipped one bit. Its a bad ass clutch youll be happy. dont know if ill make it back out this year theres only a few left and the balts hit the wallet pretty good this season lol. Over the winter valve springs and ported head. Would have liked to do some serious wr but oh well ( and now ill agree i think the gmp catback is probably holding me back now im going to make a 2.5 catback at work )

i always wondered why so many people would get the TVS and then sell or be unhappy about it. I think the main reasoning behind it was because so many were buying the blower before having the supporting mods to go with it and were disapointed. When i ran my 12.4@113 on the 93 tune the car felt awesome, but when i ran 25 degrees timing at 24lbs of boost and went 12.1 omg these blowers seriously need timing. I am so disapointed that we dont have E here becuase id be on it all the time in an instant. Since i already had the supporting mods for the blower i scooped one up used for like 1300iirc and never looked backed. I may one day go turbo if i want a 10 second cobalt, but for my daily driver to be a low 12 and 11 second car when it happens thats more than enough. Hell now i dont even like driving the car without slicks on her i get no tracshuns anymore

I really want a vid of this! So many people hate that SC Balts can't run. Maybe you could do a few vids like in the car on the street too? You have a responsibility to us other LSJ owners now.

yeah, i never would have taken mine off, but i had too many random other problems that i had to go back to stock just to figure them out...now (being my dd) i still have a vac/emissions leak i need to fix, then ill tune it as it sits(almost stock) get a "dyno" then slap the tvs on and tune it to see the improvement...so a lot more times is what i need haha

Lol nover doubted you, I just like seeing them being put through the paces and still living strong
I measured the stock resonator inlet once and IIRC it was 2 5/16" at the inlet, which would be a bit of a restriction. Just a head up since I got curious once lol
Would it help if I told you that all year I was running on a horribly dirty air filter? I feel like such an idiot that I COMPLETELY forgot about cleaning it since I put it in....over 2 years ago. So much sand came out of it and when I put a new one in my AFR at WOT went from 11.8 to 12.3-12.5 and I picked up 2 lb/min. I just made this discovery 2 weeks ago and feel like a fool lol double face palm on my part

I would recommend cleaning it lol I had enough sand and **** come out of mine to fill up my cell phone case (weird unit of measurement I know but its all I could think of that was the perfect size to put it in ) I went out after and got on it in 3rd and spun the tires (was kinda cold out and bald tires lol) so I got on it a little slower and noticed it was way leaner so I richened it back up and pulled all the way to redline and it felt like I switched from the 2.9 to the 2.7 AGAIN So yeah, get out there and clean that bish!

im the foreman at my dealership I can drive any car I want home so I'd have other means if she broke. and the stock axles have held fine for over 12 launches some just need to learnt to launch the car I've seen people break axles on a stage two car. besides axles<input shaft/bellhousing
