it'd be up to the track. but i can tell you first hand from a guy i race with. hoosier qtp > hoosier drag radial.

Pretty sure the qtp's are considered a drag radial. They are made for the dot classes.

yeah i know they're a drag radial. but theyre a bias ply construction with a slick type compound unlike the hoosier radials which are a radial construction and a little "harder" of a tire than the qtps. i know with my track, only "non treaded" soft compound tires can run in the slick lanes.

so with that, im not saying that the hoosier drag radial will or will not be allowed. but ive seen the qtp out perform the drag radial first hand.
