Enjoy your form of racing, it is a step above Formula D which I think is gay as AIDS.

you guys crack me up. I race at all tracks and all kinds of racing. I like the 1320 because i gauge what my car is putting down for power. I like the twisties because its funner and trail braking into a turn at over 100mph feels like youre on cocaine auto X i dont care for too short and closed in to actually get up to speed.

A drag strip is a track. They are two words for the same thing. It's the same as calling a car an automobile.

You're making yourself look like an idiot 40 by:

- Arguing random meaningless parts of posts.
- "Correcting" someone who is already correct.
- Spreading misinformation.
- Not knowing the difference between your and you're.
- Constantly trolling.
- Posting what you believe to be witty comments.

Go back to the Sky forums. I used to read your stuff and consider you a knowledgeable guy. Lately you've just been annoying.

AutoX is usually about 25-45 dollars and if you can't afford to race you probably shouldn't be racing at all. Something breaks and you're SOL, breaking more likely at a drag strip as well.

You asked how these cars did at drag racing and I gave you my opinion don't get all butt hurt when it isn't what you agree with.

No matter how hard everyone tries these cars are really not meant for it that's why you always see people roll racing. Even the fastest balts on the site don't really put down ETs that are amazing. Although its easy to find Cobalts dominating in track and AutoX. That's what the chassis is meant to do.

Of all the pedantic dickweed **** to be arguing.

why do you park in a driveway and drive on a parkway?

My car goes fast enough on the drag strip to give me several hours of fun for the 15 bucks it costs me to get on the (track/strip/dragway) and I don't know that anything more than that matters.

Have fun at the drag strip, just don't hop.

I have ran my old SC multiple times at the strip and my TC. Never had a problem.
^^^^this. OP, i would just run it with traction control off. no need for competitive mode.
quickly slip the clutch at 2500-2800 rpm. shift quickly at 5800-6000rpm. thats it. just don't
over rev when shifting, or pop the clutch at the starting line. you will be fine. just don't
totally beat the **** out of the car and everything will be o.k.

i beats the **** out of mine since 4 miles on the odometer. Just have to be smart about it. And maintain the car as well. Everyone said my stock trans or axles wouldnt hold 7k launches on slicks. Guess what they were wrong i have over 100 passes on my stock drivetrain with nothing but the gmp upgraded clutch. But i also have a driving style that most cant mimic. Being smart and preloading the drivetrain at the tree and certain techniques have helped everything survive on my car
