sorry for bringing this back but i dont wana **** up my tranny let me get this straight


1 put car in L
2 apply brake all the way
3 go WOT release brake at stall rpm (2500 or w.e)
this is were im confused
4 once my car shifts into second i shift up into I while still WOT or take my foot up shift into I and go WOT
sorry if that seems retarded i just dont wana **** up my tranny
and when i shift from L-I and I-D do i want to do it once it shifts or does it not matter and i can do it whenever as long as its not redline?

also if i wana do a roll at and im in 4th if i downshift from D-I will that be bad for the tranny?

 

"L" is fine till 2nd gear (thats where it will hit limiter at the END of 2nd)

"I" is fine till 3rd gear (thats where it will hit limiter at the END of 3rd)

Its really hard to screw up this trans. Ive done accidental neutral drop when going through the gears. And Ex GF even put it in Park when rolling 20 mph

 

thanks and should i stay on the throttle the whole time like i normally would? and i dont even wana know how that happened.....
