launching question
i got a 14.3 with traction control on. then i turned it off realizing it was on and couldnt beat that at all. im new to the track and this is my first standard as well as the fastest car ive driven so i have my reasoning....lol. but i launch around 3
its trial and error really...where ever you can launch it without spinning TOO much and launching it enough without bogging down...awd cars you can usually let it rip around 3500-4000, fwd is usually 2000-2500 and thats feathering it so u can get the most traction...just practice at the track and see which rpm range works best for you....

And by looking at his stock 1/4 mile time, I would listen to this guy, LOL. I try and launch at around 2k or so, but I also have a tune and it seems like I still spin alot. Gonna try feathering it alittle more next time I hit the track.
