ls turbo track results

well after a very long and difficult time with this car i finally got decent results. bone stock i ran a 15.9 @ 88 wit a 2.2 60ft. modified, tonight i ran a 13.4 @ 111 wit a 2.4 60 ft. i got a couple other slips but they are crappy. the very last run i trapped 115 but ran a 14.7 (i couldnt get it in 2nd gear lol). this run was done on stock 195/60/r15 street tires (kumho or however its spelled)

Congrats.

Your 1/4 ET looks pretty strong compared to the 1/8 et.

What kind of turbo set-up do you have? How much HP are you putting down?

thanks. i think shes a 12.9 car if i can get a good launch down. turbo lag is a bitch, i dunno why its laggin so much but in the higher RPMs shes a ****** rocket

A nicer set of tires will go a long way, the 60 foot is killing you. Nice trap speeds though

i got some 17s but one of the inside of the tire is gettin worn and i didnt wanna ride on it. i got some slicks i brought wit me tho but i was scared to push them cause i didnt wanna snap a axle cause i didnt feel like cashin out money for that lol. so when i did use them i had like 26 psi in em. next time ill do 18

i been hittin the track, just gettin shitty results until now lol. im thinkin about gettin drags for my 17s i got, so that way i dont gotta roll to the track with a jack, and 2 extra wheels and tires

that was my ultimate goal dude. i wanted it to look stock on the outside but kick some ass at the same time. i think ive accomplished my goal lol. your car has a hell of alot more potential then mine. you will be leavin me in the dust soon, especially if stock turbo tcs are runnin 11.9s on stock turbos

boost creep is what you got. nip that in the bud before it gets worse. how are you controlling boost?

i dont think its boost creep cause i got my boost controller set all the way up, if i turn it lower it wont go no higher then 18. i got a AEM EBC. well i dunno man. if it is boost creep wouldnt it be goin higher then 18 if i got it set all the way up and i supposedly got a 13 psi spring in it?

i'm a little confused are you saying with the aem ebc turned all the way down it wont boost past 18psi on your 13psi spring? but if you turn the ebc up, at the desired boost setting the boost will continue to build?

17s are too big for drag racing to be honest. Drop down to a 15 and get a slick. You'll be much happier.

yes sir. wit the EBC off it will make like 7-8 psi. with the duty cycle all the way to 90% 18 psi is all it made

when i use a MBC the boost doesnt go as high for some reason. so its either a wastegate issue or bad couplers somewhere
