My 1st time at the track

Went to the track the other day and had horrible times lol. Best pass of the night was a 13.6 at 110 with a 2.3 60.

Mods include byt tune, injen hotside, drop in filter, zzp intake tube, and zzp catted downpipe.

I feel the mph is good enough for low 13 maybe high 12 with some good air, but need to get that 60' down. Any tips, launching around 2500 with a slow slip.

Oh and the best 60 I had was the 2.3 in comp mode. I tried esc off and I just spun all the way to a 2.7

You need to launch at 2500 and slip the clutch a bit, dont just dump and go! Shift to 2nd before you see the tach cross 6k too to help with the bog into 2nd.

Would the 6K 1st gear thing be a rule of thumb in a SC as well? I can see why you say the bog helps. I think I am going to try it. I am so frustrated with my times vs mods as well.

Thats similar to my 1st LNF car down the track.Mine was 2.3 60' 13.4 @110mph.Launching at 2500 as well with very little clutch slip out of the hole.I was shifting really slow as it was not my car and did not wanna break it.Nice runs though
