No I have m and h slicks now. I shift at 7400-7500 I don't go over that, or try not to. It's hard in first and second tho.

Oh ok. Any idea on how well the motorcycle slicks did compared to the m and h slicks? I'm going to be running a 17" set is why I asked.

Well the m and h's out perform the mc slicks any day. I could spin the mc slicks on the stock turbo.

yeah it'd be nice if i could get traction with them though. i had my buddy feel them right after i did my burnout cause i was just curious how much life they had left in them. he said it felt just a hair stickier than a street tire. and they have no tread left lol. can't go more than half throttle in 1st, and still spin in second but its minimal to where i don't need to peddle, it'll grab again before i need to shift.

I highly doubt your bike traps 133-135mph. My 2011 750 only traps 133 lol. Would be a good run till about 80-90 then I would pull away. Thats how it is on my bike anyway.

Just saw theres an actual 17 inch slick, not motorcycle slick from m&h. I think I'm going to try it out. Its 26x8.5 so should work. Just a lil worried that it won't fit on my 17x7.5" rims as it recommends an 8 inch wide one.

They also have a slick for the evo's in a 17 and its shorter than 26.5. I wouldnt go to a 26 IMO.

You talking about these
https://secure.buschurracing.com/cat...c7f16940a4e73c

I have these on a set of stock redline rims which are only 7.5 and they fit fine i was getting 1.8 60s with these and thats without the footballs aired up at all and the track wasnt that sticky past the first couple feet

Check over on EvoM they've had a few tires made for those cars now... they came out with a drag radial AND slick that fits their 17" wheels but idk if they'd be useful on a cobalt.

Yeah, thats them, and I believe the redline rims are 7 inches wide aren't they? Glad they're working well for you though. Not meaning to downtalk your car or anything, but I have a bit more torque than you, so I don't know if that will matter or not. I'm sure I'll spin atleast a lil bit more.

Lol, all I have local to me is an 1/8th mile track. 1st time out I'm shooting for mid 7s on the slicks as I ran a 9.1 around 300whp on the stock turbo spinning the entire track length on street tires then I'm going for 6s, but don't think the S256ET can supply enough to get me there. Pretty sure the S259ET could though but I don't want to upgrade until the phasers to where we can rev past 7400rpms comes out.

Ahh, didn't know that. Last dyno I saw from you, you were still in the high 300s.
