That sux , impressive none the less though . Put a good driver in the seat and the these stock clutches arent half as bad as their made out to be . My stocker will be going back in here soon breifly , everytime I get close to have the cash for the Exedy , something dumb comes up . When I took it out at 40K or so it was starting to slip @ wot when it was heatsoaked .

Rally - Yea we took total opposites . Im going back this spring before I put my 3" pulley and 42's on and adding the cobra he , doing the 2 pass mod and instead of running meth Im gonna tune my car for e85 and see how she blows . Weve got my buddy darrens mustang running a 331ci 76gtsh turbo combo at 1100 hp with no intercooler of any kind running on e85 .

Rally ...btw , we dyno about identical too my last was 219/199 . More proof high dyno times arent everything

holla! you finally went to a 1/4 track! I dont think I called you out, but I do remember really wanting you to go to a 1/4...just to see ACTUAL numbers though, cause they are obviously more fun.

I don't know about this . GM Satge 2 tune ....nope . He even said that he "tweaked it" to make it runn better. That in itself should make this time under modded section instead of the GM Stage 2 tune.

Don't get me wrong man this is impressive especially on the stock clutch and axles but I just think it is under the wrong classification.

What RPM are you launching at ?

I think a more accurate breakdown would be:

13.0 = 13 Flat
13.1 - 13.2 - 13.3 = Low 13
13.4 - 13.5 - 13.6 = Mid 13
13.7 - 13.8 - 13.9 = High 13

13.000 is a 13 flat
a 13.001 is a low 13

Btw a 2.09 60 on DRAG RADIALS is not very good. What did the ms3 hit at your fairytale track on 18 inch STOCK RUBBER. I believe the drive hit a 2.01 lol. You still think you 60 is good?

I said you were going to run mid 13s, and you did. You can argue its low 13s and i can argue its mid 13s. So lets call it mid to low 13s. you trap speed isnt there, neither is you 60....i still fail to see the big deal.

um actually i post alot on the mazda forums...in the are of 20 plus posts a day. Im just here giving newbies reality checks and saying GJ to those that actually deserve it.

Based on your previous posts....
drag radials w/
tranny mounts
Control arm bushing
ingals

RUNNING A FUCKEN 2.09 60 is a joke, get over yourself.

The stage 2 w new flash and breathing mods is just the car doing its thing, his driving has nothing to do with trap speed cause its kind of hard to **** up 2 shift points.

He does have a little bit of a point, I turned 2.10 something with proxes a month or so about..... Those are pretty crappy 60s for DRs, but practice does make perfect

I agree, congrats on your slip. Its to bad you don't have the GM stage 2 record though. I do, with a 13.1 @ 106mph. Just thought it was pointless posting a 13.1 when I was a 12 second pass

BTW ^ I was j/k. I still have not made it back to the track

i got banned for 247 cause you cant speak your opinion about vendors who sell ****. So me and the guys got together and started our own forum. www.mazdaspeedforums.org We got 5 vendors in the 20 days we have been open and every1 there is pretty much the top modded guys from the mazdaspeed world. 247 and mazda3forums are a fucken joke filled with newbies and vendors who don't take negative reviews too well being that they pay for the site.

Crazy, you always did speak your mind. Going to be interesting seeing the MS3 and Cobalt SS/TC go at it. Anyways, I agree with your post about the 60" time. If he gets better with those slicks/DR's he will hit 12s.

again, im not claiming to be a great driver, look in any of my threads. i wholeheartedly agree my 60 is not as good as it can be. this is still only like the 3rd time ive even run these tires and the first time at this track. ladouche seems to think there is nothing called a "dial in" and you just hop in and go. its amazing he isnt working for a pit crew with his amount of knowledge. 60's will come, just as they did with my other dr's without mounts.

and btw ladouche, if my tune and "breather" mods are what cause my car to run good, why are the other stage 2 cars with similar things done running a couple tenths slower
