yeah man not buying just a little sbc lol. gotta be in the 434 ci range and prolly running a single dominator 1050cfm lol. My friend runs that combo in his malibu and runs low 10's on motor and stock suspension on spray it goes mid-high 9's on a 10" tire.

I think Im with you .

you know without a Ls motor in it , it really wont run ......I kid I kid . Sweet car man .... did u build it for fun , class racing ect. Looks like it'd make a sweet super stock car ....wheel up

Jus went back and read the 1st thread and saw it a manual ....u get triple extra credit for that Liberty ? I understand the consistency of a auto , buts its sweet to see the fast guys bangin gears .

Thanks a lot guys. Tranny is a G-Force, and it runs in a 10# class, so we are running much lower cubes than you guys are talking. Single carb and it's all throttle. No giggle juice.

Now i know this is starting to get confusing to those of you doing the math but now throw in that this motor has been built to leave the lights at almost 10,000 rpms. Ok so it's no normal SBC, but it is low cubic inches and no spray or power adders. This setup in his last car (3rd gen Camaro) went mid 9s.

If anybody wants to validate this it will be at a local 1/8th mile track all summer here in northern missouri. I'll probably have some videos of this too.

The little cube big rpm na motors sound incredible going down the track ...kinda like a prostock . Kind of a redundant statement , but have a blast with it

it is actually a 296 inch we are starting out with. steve thompson is the driver and that is considered a big engine to him.
