No it's not an SS Part 2
having a hood scoop that big when driving kinda makes it hard to see that blind spot.
not so much a sleeper but a nice DD thats one of a kind.
the car looks great guys, good job
this thing is definately a drag car. the interior is completely stripped out and is a far shot from being street legal. why would you want to DD something like that?

dude, victoryredss would be sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo pissed x infinity if he lost on pinks after 2 years of designing and building this car.
ok 2 questions.
1) was it really necisary to have that "gigantafuckin hood scoop on there?"
2) is it street legal?
because if u took off the giant hood scoop, put a conservative one on if need be. just so its still got that air u need, and if u took off the giant drag tires and put some street tires on that thing with a smaller width so it doesnt seem like u got tons of power under that thing, it would be a great DD/sleeper of a car.
thats what i wanna see!

......Probably shouldn't be any pinks with VictoryRed (now Pinks All Out is a different story), but it would be fun to see rediculous power vs purpose built

Once the car is ready to race and I have passed my NHRA Competition liscence, I would be willing to drive an equal distance as he, to get to a race track where we could have a "friendly" race. The only limitation is how much longer my car is because that affects the amount of track time I can get to work on getting licensed.

The idea of having these two cars line up together would be really cool.
This suggestion came up yesterday in my thread as well.

You are right on that one. Then again as crazy as I am for doing this project, even I am not crazy enough to race for Pinks Slips.

I believe he is in Montana and I am just above Seattle, so that is quite the drive for me. I calculate at least a 6,000 mile round trip with my motorhome/trailer/car. At the price of gas that would be a very, very, very expensive race.
Now if CED or GM wants to promote/sponsor such an event and pay the fuel cost then I am down for it.
Originally I was thinking of a location abit farther west.

steve would never run for pink slips. that would be foolish. but we would look at something this fall if anyone knows how to set something like this up for pinks. how much horsepower does the car from canada have. with are best piece we would have around 700 with a 288.

The best I can offer the east coast peeps is that when my car is all done, part of the unvieling will be the car going to the race track at Cayuga, Ontario. The man who did the rwd conversion is lined up to take the car for a few passes including an all out, let's see what this beast can do, pass.
