question about 60'

ok , well , when it was a little colder , i went to the track with i/e. my best times were in the 10.37 area, with 60's of about 2.3-2.4.

yesterday, i went when it was about 80 degrees outside, the trac was all melted and shitty.i've installed a header recently, and havent been to the track since before that. my best time was 10.36, with a 60' of 2.6.

is it safe to assume if the track wasnt crappy, and i got a 2.3 60', i would have ended with a 10.0-10.1 or so??

rule of thumb is if you can take a tenth off your 60ft its 2 tenths in the 1/4 mile.
