I would say the same. One you get it tuned and with meth you should be up in the 27* of timing if not a little more, all depends what the motor likes of course. And you should def be trapping higher since the m62 was trapping 105.69ish for me, that tvs should net you close to the 110 range i would think.

Anyways bro best of luck cant wait to hear what you get it down to.

my 13.1 @ 108 was done with the potenza RE-11's great tires but expensive. I got them cheap because i was a mechanic at firestone at the time.

And wes we dont have dino fuel in my area, only two stations ones not open to the public and the other is on a military base. Im hoping it becomes available but until then when i do find a TVS i will have to be running meth for now. (i also have a good tooner as well)

Thanks everyone. I have to admit that my tires are some of the cheapest tires out there. I only bought them because I plan on putting good tires on my rims and need to save some money. I've thought of parking the car for the rest of the year to try and save money and get back at it next year. I think I will hit up Cayuga or Grand Bend instead from now on.

I doubt we will ever see 27 degrees on a TVS, another car I was tunning on a TVS with meth we got to around 21 degrees and were putting ~340whp. If we pushed the timing much more then that we could see a bit of detonation the odd time, so we didn't push it.

With the right tire setup I ran 13.039@111.85 on my m62 on meth, and that was at around 290ish whp (same dyno as the other TVS) at the track that these guys are complaining about.

I also dropped a 1.828 60ft time at that track in 45 degree F temperatures, so the track really isn't that bad.

You can run more than 27* of timing with Corn. 0 detonation, at all.

On meth, I am surprised to ever see anything over 20-21. Anything more and you will get some detonation here and there. No way you will see 27* on pump and meth. If so, your **** is fucked.

When was the last time you looked at a tune on a tvs with meth? Cause i just pulled one up on a tvs and meth and see it set to 30* up top. THis might be a little agressive but still.

I can put 40* in every cell in my timing map, too.

Doesn't mean the car will run it.

You should be able to get more than 21 into it with a 100 meth and 7 gph nozzle with a 2.9 or larger pulley. I got 21 into mine with a 2.7 and I think I can still get a couple more. That is with tuning for 0 knock

this is what nozzle i run now, but with a 50/50 mix. The TVS i may get friday has two pulleys the stock and the 2.9 i believe. You saw 340whp on a 2.9 ring? what exhaust setup was on the car? ( nm it doesnt say what size pulley ill assume a 2.7 like wes)

it wasnt me who said 340whp, last year i dyno'd just under 300whp with stock pulley and non agressive timing

I'd be very happy with 300whp. Kevin, when I see you in person I would like to see your tires and hopefully I could net good times. Heck, you can even drive my car down the track.

You can buy my tires

The 1.828 was on M&H slicks 8.5 x 24.5 x 15. The 111.85 trap was on Hoosier DRs 225/50/16

Drag radials are gone, but I still have the slicks.

You don't want me to drive, I am on my third transmission, lol.

Ive got tvs and last week (with terrible launches and 60 ft times) I ran 13.6's & 13.7's @ 106-107 spinning in 1st and 2nd. I should be low 13's but our cars have NO traction off the line and I need to get better at launching but you should be faster than the numbers you posted.

I thought I would hit the same time as you... My tune needs work. Driver error too I guess. It gets really frustrating hitting those horrible times.

I wish I would have been able to trap that with the M62, maybe my driving skills need MUCH more help.
I was having this thought too for a long time, I only was able to get a 14.4 out of my SS/SC, turns out my IC pump was broken, Do you for sure know that your's is working?

My pump is brand new. It is working. I am running some cheap Goodyear off brand tires. They are very hard. I think Republic Ultra GT, something like that junk.

I always tell people, get suspension and tires before you start upgrading power adders, but no one listens
