Take that with the fact that there were 2 automatic impala's at the track that day and you get suspicion. The slips were posted, we'll all congratulate Mr. Archer, and I hope that all the customers have the same luck with thier cars.

See you at the track.
How do you know that there were to automatic Impala's running that day? Wait, are you implying that because of the consistancy that these slips are from is old Impala now??!!!!
Please say no, besides, his Impala ran high 11's at 113mph with a race weight of 3800lbs. He'd have to have a worse 60' than a 2.1 to run a 13.5.....

Got spies out there do ya If you knew there were Impala's there than you obviously knew what i ran

Anyways, yes my old Impala was there with it's new owner, 2.0 - 2.1 60' still went 12.5 12.8 at 111-113 at 3800lbs!

I to hope all our customers have as much fun/luck as we have

Hey tiny, instead of wasting so much time trying to prove Rob wrong, why don't you spend this time doing somthing CONSTRUCTIVE like adding bigger fuel injectors to your stage 1 kit?

I don't have spies at all, but I do have a lot of friends...and maybe I should know what you ran that day, but i'm done fighting about this.

Like I said, congrats on your timeslips, and we'll see you on the pavement.

You stepped over the line when you called him a liar It's one thing to ask for proof, it's another to call someone a liar. Why don't you guys just call yourselves
"accuseitup motorsports"?

How many times are you going to say "own3d"? M@d Lam3 l33t Y0!

Who are you?Wow, what language is that? I'll say it as many times as he makes himself look stupid, how's that? I agree, he had the right to ask for proof, but not to call him a liar. And when did I ask for an apology? Mr. big, bad 2 poster Go practice your ebonics and eat some wheaties before coming at me and trying to act cool.
This thread was done and at a rest until you felt like coming in and trying to act like anyone cares about your 2 cents. Tiny has successfully made revitup motorsports look childish, bottom line. It's a shame this thread had to go to a pi$$ing match, because Rob's times are the best thing that's happend to the cobalt community. Everyone's said their thought's, it's over and done. I say everyone just drop it and let this thread go.

Because 13.5's are obtainable as of right now twin charging is not. There's what, maybe 3 twincharged show cars in existance and if there the best thing thats happened to the community they should have posted some decent track times. In my opinion twin charging the cobalt wont be practical for most, ever.. The best thing to happen to my cobalt will be when I sell it..

oh and I wasnt part of this argument.....and I know revitup has twin charging plans for the summer... I just enjoy shooting down the hopes of all the twin charging fans.... Pick one and go with it. If it ends up being cost effective than I am wrong and I apologize, I would think that there would have to be more effective/cheaper ways of making power. Pull off the supercharger and go with a turbo if you want that much boost.

There's a simple quote I'm reminded of when it comes to situations like this:

"When the hammer drops the bull-sh*t stops."

That's why I'll wait for whoever (intense, rev it up, the GM kits, Hahn, etc) to release what they offer and wait for those time slips to come in before I make any decisions.

You do realize both kits have ran 13.52 in the quarter right? Difference was in track speed. Fast06ss ran in 28 degree weather iirc and boominit ran in high 50s/low 60s. Huge air density and cooling effect differences. That right there probably makes up for the trap speed difference. They are both the same performance wise in my eyes...just different ways of doing it. And while tiny may have been a little childish in this thread it was fast06ss acting childish in the other thread in 2.0L discussion. Just stop the bickering. The truely fast people/tuners/shops will be seen this year.

Congratulations on your times FAST06SS!

I'm with Tofu, just sitting back and waiting for all the results to come in before I make a decision on which kit to go with. And let's all remember that we are all on the same team regardless of what kit/mods, etc.

The only reason it went to a "pi$$ing" match was because you and all of the other intense cronies ran your mouths to Tiny, when all he did was ask for proof, which has happened to him on countless occasions. Also once again Tiny called BS and FAST a liar *UNTIL* he had proof, proof is there, bequiet.

I think the twin-charged cobalt is the best thing that's happened to the Cobalt community. 13.5 on DRs(or slicks(which are they?)) with 3000-3100lbs and what 260-270fwhp? Although I offer my congratulations...how is that special?

How is somthing that has no proven track times, no decent dyno #'s (atleast none that i've seen) and most important, NOT SOMTHING THAT ANYONE CAN EASILY INSTALL important?
The reason Rob's times are the best thing to happen because A) it's the fastest SS/SC times to date, B) it was done by a kit that's proven, C) it's a kit that anyone can buy and install themselves. How is the twincharged kit anything special? If I recall, he's even had problems getting it to run right?

Actually, 13.8X is the fastest time I've seen for the Revitup kit. While traction is the cause for the e.t., your right, it's the trap speed difference that shows Rob is making more power.

I feel bad for you cobalt guys, it seems the ability to mod this car just isnt there. I keep hearing everyone say "oh give the aftermarket time and they'll come up with something" Honestly, its been a damn long time, the car has to have been out for a year now, and you still basiclly have no go fast parts. Either someone takes some action and starts writing to some major companies or you will be stuck in the mid 13's.
