My times are worse, but my traps are higher.

 

Your trap speeds are WAY to low for a tuned TC. I have close to the same mods and im trapping a lot higher then that. And im still on stock conti's

 

what should they be at about?

 

I've been averaging around 109 and my gmst1 tune was around 105.

Yeah definately a driver mod here. Your 60ft are whats killing you, you need to work on launching the car.

Will be taking my friends TC car down the track as well since his personal best is not great so that will be interesting since i am a LSJ and use to launching that.

 

He's running on stock tune.... It doesn't matter how bad his 60ft is, or if he is a little slow on shifting, the trap speeds are indicating a stock tune. Either that or there is something seriously wrong with the engine....

When you dynoed for trifecta tuning you were in competition mode, right?

How about you try the following:

Get to 60mph in third and punch it and see what it feels like. Then put the car in competition mode and repeat. If you don't feel a massive difference, try turning off the cruise control and repeat. I bet you all will feel way more power in one of those scenarios... Then you will know what you have to do in order to activate the trifecta tune.

OP sorry but now you see what happend to me. except stock i ran 14.3 and fully bolted on trifecta tuen i ran a 14.1 and bogged so damn bad trying to launch i think you was bogging bad in first then 2nd tears ass. correct me if im wrong

If his car is doing like mine it bogs ungodly in first and 2nd pulls but doesnt spin and 3rd is great. I was bogging so bad in first on the tune it was pitifull and i was launching at 3500. looks llike only two cars doing this. op sorry its you to. Im gonna get vince to disable torque management and see what that does for me.

 

I already had Vince tell me how my tune is activated. When cruise control is off (no green light) I boost 23psi then when I turn on cruise control (green light on) I boost 20psi and it doesn't exceed 20 at all.

I'll try and see if maybe I have 3 tunes.

 

I'm confused as to why your not running good... I can completely **** up my launch and run a 13.6... I have less parts then you with the same 23 psi tune.

 

I talked to him yesterday. we have the same exact problem with our cars. Where most of you spind like crazy i can barely chirp tires through second. And i have full bolt ons and trifecta tune. He is the first person to actually notice the same thing i did. seems everyone else i asked that has a trifecta tune whats to say its driver. I actally think my car spins more off the tune in first than on it. And second i have to floor it give it a sec or two and then it chirps the tires from there till redline. when my car was first tuned i would spin before i could get half throttle. But the thing i dont get at all is why if it only sprinkles jsut a little bit like a min. why do i spind through 4th if i nail it on the tune

 

That would be clutch slipping. Unless your tires are wet... Btw what year is your car?

 

i have a 09. clutch isnt slipping. last time at the track it was so weak in first i had a 99 si civic jump me a car or so out the hole and i wasnt spinning

 

Yeah, I have a 09 as well... My first gear is weak as well about 5 psi... I'd like him to increase it a bit but its no big deal...

 

mine wont hardly pull at the track and all gears feel weak under full boost like the op stated last night. i dont know our cars are the only ones acting like this or are we just the only two to notice it. Vince has told me logs look great and he doesnt feel comfortable tuning it farther than what it is.

 

What parts do you both have?

 

all treadstone parts. i don see that as the issue. it pulled great one time. that was for the first data log. and i have the stage 3 with straight exhaust
and no bov

What all options do you have on the trifecta

 

All I asked for is 20psi with tune off and 23 with tune on. That's all I asked for. Didn't know what else I could ask for

Just cat warm up and cat over temp removed. And 24 psi tuen which never sees 24

 

tell him you want to smooth out the 24 psi.
