Slicks on a LNF?

Okay so I searched but could not find out if its possible to run Slicks on a 09 Cobalt SS. I was told the brembos are the issues so how are guys running slicks? what do i gotta do and is it expensive???

you need lsj calipers then you need to grind them down a lil for a 15" rim to fit. not sure on the costs.

will i was just buying tires today and there are lots of track tiers. i dont think any were drag radials though. i thought that hoosher had a set though

um....just want to point out that not too long ago....there was a thread posted on here of a member than put slicks on his LNF and blew a hole the size of a watermelon in his transmission.

um cmiller just ran 11.9s on slicks w his lnf. and he has done mutiple passes in the mid to low 12s also.
my point being if you drive it right it will be ok even with slicks.

I have SSNA's with DR's and they do make slicks that will fit. Mine bolted up without any spacers too!

That was ZZP, they were also trying to launch on antilag and a big turbo, there's a difference there. I launch at 5200 on a wotbox building 6 pounds of boost and do it time after time in the mid to low 1.7's 60 foot times. People just need to learn how to drive.
