So you admit the timing equipment could have been and probably was off(not accurate)??

no, the jr dragster only went an 1/8 mile, so his last slip (where he went after the jr dragster) wasn't set to print the 1/4 mile, so his slip only has the 1/8 mile on it.

The timing equipment could still be off and also his car was NOT bone stock.

The timing equipment could still be off cause it was set to a 1/8 mile instead of a 1/4 mile ?!?

Also, why wasn't his car bone stock?

he is right, if you would like to nit-pick over a K&N drop-in filter, not CAI, Not SRI, just stock air system with a replaced filter cutting off apparently .5 seconds of my et then feel free, that's your right to opinion. It really doesn't bother me that noone thinks this i true, cuz i know i ran a 15.6 and even if the filter can apparently cut half a second off my et then it was the best $40 i spent.

Hate if you want, I ran a 15.6 and that's all that matters to me. I just think it's funny that i run a nice time and noone wants to admit that a stock 12k car can run a decent time, but it happened, your opinion doesnt bother me, so get over it

dude, get over yourself
he never said if that run he posted was after that or not
there is never a way to guarantee whether or not the timing system is accurate, but nobody questions it
and if a new air filter is considered a mod, then i guess my mom modded her minivan by changing her air filter when it was dirty

nice times matt, where did you learn to drive like that?

And 06G5GT---did you weigh your car? My 2.4L SS has no options but its a few lbs over 2800.

And patathSS-- I wasn't there. Just trying to figure out what he'd run at my track (with the high elevation) to compare to mine.

Far as I know I have been the only Cobalt ever at my track, so I want to see one run.
I saw your runs, they were really good for an n/a cobalt, or any n/a car for that matter.
What was your best?
Calgary is about 7/10ths slower than sea-level on the average car, so it's pretty crappy for bragging rights.

Nice job to the thread starter, a 2.3 60 ft is not bad at all for stock car and stock tires.

Why is it hard to believe...30 degree temps and he was able to get traction unlike some of us lsjers...and he can drive...drink beer pretty well too lol. **** the haters...now if only i could find some traction then id show u the driving skills. As it sits the satty is at the dealer with all racing numbers and slips removed with a half page long fix it list lol.

good run, and yeah, 2.2 Ecotec's can be real fast sometime. My alero ran 15.21 with intake and exhaust.

I hope to be in the 14's with just my short ram next time I hit the track.

So now weight reduction isn't modding?? Like I said his car was not bone stock. It is funny you guys get mad at me when all I do is post the truth and facts.

Hey look guys, this bone stock Accord runs 13s

Show me where I have talked ****? And trolled? Last time I checked trolling is when someone that doesn't own the car of said message board sits there and bashes it and brags about how much better his/her car is. I do neither. But most of the people that have responded to me in this thread are fanbois that think the Cobalt is the only car graced by the hand of God.
