Took the base to the track
"But most of the people that have responded to me in this thread are fanbois that think the Cobalt is the only car graced by the hand of God."
Man, You fail to realize, We're on an island called CobaltSS.net. I think you're going to get that A LOT.

No. I have gone off on one person, but that was more then justified.
I simply posted my times because i was happy with them and i wanted to see what others thought, if you want to nit pick over every little think, that's excellent, more power to you for being the CSS.net lead detective. all i'm saying is think about the reality of it, is ~10 lbs and a drop-in filter really going to do that much?
First you claim the track times are off, now your complaining because of him removing the spare?
I guess I lied about my times too then. Although my first 14.39 was done with everything in the car (plus a 12 pack of Coke, Moutain Dew, and Dr. Pepper). After lunch I removed the spare, and my passenger seat, and then my best was a 14.35. Thats a .04 difference with a lot more weight out of my car. Not really much if you ask me. And those seats have some good weight to them. A lot more then that spare does. And the whole changing of the filter?
How petty can you get?

we never said anything about the times being off. There was a junior dragster there that was only running 1/8 mi, and when i went after him they forgot to reset the clock to measure 1/4 mi so my timeslip only read 1/8 mi when i ran the RSX. That's it.

This will always be controversial
Anyhow roccityroller--whats the mileage on your car? I am wonderring if that is a contributing factor. Almost every car gets quicker after its broken in
