Hmm I'd be willing to bet that your Trail Blazer SS would still beat your Stage II SS/SC. They are fast especially from a dig with the 4X4... From a roll maybe.

My SS/SC is stock, lease so that's why... But yeah I can't touch the Trail Blazer SS and the owners around here know it...

Now the SS/TC should be able to win against a stock Trail Blazer SS. Even from a dig. Or it'd be close. I plan on finding out when I get one...

With those 1/4 mile times I would beat it by a second depending on launch

A Stage II SS/SC doesn't do 0-60 in 5.8 seconds... Which is why I said from a dig the Trailblazer SS would probably win.

However in the 1/4 the SS/SC would win so I would predict from a dig the TSS would probably get a good jump, but the SS/SC would probably catch up and over-take it... Only one way to find out...

from a dig she will beat you hands down, from a roll she will hold you off til about 100. you better talk her into a 45 or higher roll or you will be sad of the out come. my brother has one we tested it at every speed against various cars.

I think he either meant a stock SS T/C or a Stage 2 with nothing else done to it. I can't speak to that though, I'm happy to get 6.7 0-60 up here in the stratosphere (damn altitude).

Those TBSS's are 100+ MPH cars in the 1/4 IIRC, so I don't know about a dig, but the last time I went from around 30 in second with one, I had him by a door at the top of third.

LS-series engines in a Blazer though, glad they thought of that.

Yeah I guess a Stage II SS/SC could do 0-60 in 5.7. Seeing that it makes around the same WHP as a stock SS/TC. Still seems a little low to me. I have no say either really cause I'm completely stock.

IDK, I thought Stage II SS/SC's were fast until my buddy who has a Jetta GLI 1.8T who when we ran against eachother stock I used to beat, put a chip, turbo-back, turbo-inlet, deriverter valve & CAI ran against a modded Stage II SS/SC and pulled on him by like a car and a half...

But he's making like 260 wheel torque, which might explain why he was pulling on the Stage II SS/SC...

5.7 with a pretty good driver I'd say. Saw somewhere it's around a 10-15 WHP difference in the turbobalt's favor, at altitude I wouldn't be surprised if that gap widened significantly.

Chipped VW's normally make that peak torque at some crazy low RPM IIRC, but if it's lighter and he's making around the same WHP, he'd pull.

S2 is a decently fast DD, only a car or so back from a stock SS T/C with equal drivers, but it's still just a lightly-modded 'balt, not sure why everyone expects them to pwn anything with 4 cylinders. I'd expect a turbo VW with breather mods and a chip to pull a bit on my S2. Not sure what it is with them cars and chips, that amount of gain from a chip has to be shortening the life of the stock motor or something... but it sure wakes those V-dubs up in a hurry.
