Two nights of racing & new best!

This truck just keeps on surprising me:

Mid 14's with tune and catback only......Er..and driver mod stage 3 automatic edition.

I wouldn't call a 2.1, 2.2, and 2.3 60' a good driver mod. Is that good for the truck? Mid 14s is awesome, but you run a way lower trap and average 60' comared to stock SS/SC guys yet you run comparable times. Discuss amongst yourselves.

Okay well the driver mod was a joke...Obviously wasn't funny. But at least I can I'm the only person (that I know of) whose cut a 1.9 60ft on stock 18's and stock tires in their SS/SC. Or the only one to run the time in my sig with only a k&n intake and 3" pulley for power. But I don't go around bragging about it...

A stock stalled Silverado isn't going to cut 1.9's with out a stall converter when it starts to spin the tires w/ a 1.2k brake stall. The truck runs similar times for one simple reason - torque. Comparing my own SS/SC's timeslips to my trucks my truck has it beat almost all the way up to the 1/8th mile then the SS/SC pulls hard.

As far as mph that's simple logic, it's 4,500lbs and has the aerodynamics of a brick.

I must say hands down to the driving of the Cobalt. And I kinda figured it was a joke, hope I didn't come off like a *****. I wonder if the new 900 series would run better times with the same mods? They supposedly have amazing aerodynamics. And they look sweet.

No no, not at all man! I agree with you on the GMT900's, it will be interesting to see what they run since they are supposed to be aerodynamically superior to my body style. I'm not sure what the curb weight is on those things either! GM has a monstrous SS Silverado concept coming for SEMA w/ the LS7 in it. Unfortunately not too many people care because they had some wicked concepts for the 03 Silverado SS yet it turned out pretty bland in comparison.

SilverSS/SC- thanks for comments man. I can't wait to see what the 6.0L LQ4 will do!

Sweet time on your first run though! Once you're car is fixed you'll be surprising some people on the boards.
