Nice, I was thinking about removing my back seats all together and throw some nice material back there but I dunno, I will have to do it and see what it looks like.

Yea, its nice to run fully loaded for an accurate street time, but, there a decent jump in trap speeds with less weight.

I'm a little guy. One time this fat ass at the track who weighed well over 300 pounds asked me to drive his car to get better times. It was a SRT-8 Magnum. He ran a 13.6 @ X mph. I jumped in and on my first run I ran a 13.1 @ X mph

They were a lot lighter than I expected. The passenger seat is pretty heavy, and the spare tire/jack where pretty heavy. Although, the rear seats pop out in less than 2 minutes without any unscrewing or unbolting, so its not that bad.

How about that large metal black brace on the bottom of the rear seats. Can that be removed safely?

I saw that, and I was not sure. It is Aluminum, so its not too heavy, however, it looked like a pain to take on/off, and I was hoping for an under an hour thing.
I tried taking out some of the bolts, and then gave up. Lol

yea it can be, but it is a JOB it don't want to clear the plastic on the sides of the car, it weighs 7 pounds, not worth it in my opinion

A time that's slightly lower due to ripping half your car apart does nothing to impress me... To each is their own but I just don't see a point... My theory is if it's on the car when you drive it daily it should be on the car at the track. Good writeup though!

if you use it a lot on the track then that's a different story.

the rear bar that holds the rear seats is heavy and is removed with 4 bolts. takes less then a min and it weighs like 15 lbs. lol

Really, when I looked at it, it was underneath some plastic and such and look difficult to take off.
