so I have the stage one tune and my car was bogging when i would 1-2NLS

I was shifting around 5800 because thats when the car falls on its face

Last night I went out and did a ton of NLS and I found out if I do a 1-2 NLS at 6100 my car dose not bog and the front tires spin....It feels a lot better then it did when I was stock....just make sure you shift FAST!

still too high IMO.

shifting at 5800 is optimal as you won't bounce off the limiter and you'll be in the powerband longer in 2nd gear. if it works for you it works for you. my times showed 5800 with significant improvements over 6k+

yeah. the only thing I was having trouble with was bogging. I'm assuming it's because of the stage one, with the redline and limiter raised anyone with the stage one should be ok running it an extra 200, that's how much extra we get anyways. so hopefully it works perfectly. stock 5800 was definitely the best. ran a 13.67 shifting at 5800.

^^ 13.6 stock or GMs1 shifting at 5800.

With 200 more RPMS I'd say you're good for 6k as anything above 6100 is useless anyways.

That was a stock run. GMS1 has the bogging problem at 5800, so I'm hoping with the limiter/redline raised 200 I can run it to 6k like you said and have it not bog.

Don't wear it out! LOL... So Stage1 NLS from 1-2 at 6100 and no boggin? What about the power curve? Can you feel if it is falling flat on its face or still strong?

I do kinda feeling it falling on its face but it is faster then the bog.....I also have a downpipe, intercooler, and, airbox mod to help out with the power curve.

I raced my buddys tuned STI (no other mods) and I beat him only because of the NLS

What is the rule of thumb in the 1/8. For every .1 off your 1/8 = what is the 1/4. Like for every .1 off your 60' = .2 off your 1/4.
