Hey guys, i picked up my cobalt a month or two ago and have been lurking the forums lately. I decided to finally make an account but i cant find an introduction thread -.-

I was just wondering how I can tell if my 07ss/sc has lsd, did they offer the g85 in 07? because i havent really seen one with the recaros. THANKS GAIZ

get the vin decoded. it will show the build up on it.

the decoder im looking at only tells me the basics, cobalt, lsj, sport coupe, year, where it was made etcetc

You could check the sticker label in the trunk for RPO G85

Introductory thread is in "The Lounge"

Look under the trunk carpet on the left side. It will show the RPO codes. G85 was offered on all top SS models

Thanks guys! Got the G85, no recaros though the heated seats are nice though with colder weather approaching! Is the LSD the only option included in G85?

I thought all 07 models came with it due to the fact that they got rid of the of the g85 package after the 06 model year.

I thought that too, until i saw a thread in the classifieds selling an 07 non lsd trans.

iirc they got rid of the recarro seats, leaving the lsd the only thing in the g85 package
