2.4L want to LSD

Want to know if there's anywhere I can find an LSD for my 5 speed trans other than Quaife cause their selling it at 1200$...

And why are they selling F23 LSD at only 400 bucks? what's so different

Owning 2.4L cobalt 06

I emailed Team Green LSD, been waiting now a week and still no answer.

I want a F23 LSD to fit my 2.4L.

If a member of Teem Green LSD can reply I'd appreciate.

Im not a big fan of those inserts, they get a limited slip effect by loading the side gears against the differential case.....(none of the parts in your trans are designed to work in that way)

A Quaife while expensive is a properly engineered solution that wont shorten the life of your trans under high loads like a TG or PG insert does.

If you're trying to skimp on spending the money on the LSD itself, you may not have the funds to get one PROPERLY installed.

In other words, get a Quaife.

Depends, at 1200$ + taxes + shipping it to Canada gonna cost me about 1400$. Even tho this LSD can handle 600 000km what does it matter?

OBX LSD for 350$ + taxes + shipping about 500$ for what, 150 000km? I think that's fair enough.

I'd rather put down my trans twice for 500$ than once for 1400$.

This is my first american car, I wonder how much KM it can handle considering our hard winters...

if youve got an LSJ car the ideal thing to do is to find an LSD box. MUCH cheaper than installing a diff in your current box. The F23 in the 2.2/2.4 never had an LSD so aftermarket is the only way to go, and F23s are easier/cheaper to install diffs in anyway.

Who of team green did you email?
Brian Wisniewski aka SpeedRacerZ
Tom Smith aka Wrench Monkey
Chris Taetsch aka Taetsch Z-24

Brian normally is the easiest to get in touch with.

Many people have used the TEAM GREEN insert for years, without any problems.

It is basically the same as the phantom grip with stiffer springs.
