2nd Gear Grind

Ive tried searching and came to the conclusion thats its my synchro or it could be the shift linkage but my 2nd gear grinds when i try to put it in 2nd, (the higher the rpms the more grind there is) every gear works fine though. Side note my factory cable clamp for my shift linkage snapped and i installed a new one the billet aluminium one and i wonder if its not adjusted correctly like overtime it moved out of place and my clutch also started slipping thank you for any help you guys can give me

I'd make sure you get a new clutch too
