4t45e -> 4t65e wap

I am building a custom vehicle using a 2.4 SS Ecotec and 4t45e. I am worried that the 45 may not hold up to the intended level of abuse. Considering swapping in a 4t65e. Looking at the wiring schematics from both they appear almost identical. It appears that the 65e should be able to be controlled by the 45e TCM. In fact I've found someone who did it already but was unwilling to share how. Has anyone here done it?

Thanks, that's a good lead. Do any threads exist on the subject that I have so far been unsuccessful in finding?

I have been searching for days. This is all I've found on this site:
